Fall has many of its likeable attributes. Some may say it's the morphing of the leaves from green to bright red; some may say it's the pumpkin spice lattes that only come around this time of year. I say it's the beautiful day when the air is cool, the breeze is gentle, and the sun is shining; it's the day for an oversized sweater.
I don't know what it is about a sweater ending at your knees and drooping past your hands that makes it so attractive, but it is... Being able to slip on a sweater that, frankly, feels more comfortable then your over-night pajamas, is fashion's greatest gift.
Besides the multiple arrangements that can be paired with an oversized sweater (Denim, colored jeans, printed leggings, skirts), you can add something to the sweater that no one else can - you.
Imagine a girl wearing a plain, black, oversized sweater with a Kardashian bun and a bold choker on- classy, I love it! Now, imagine a different girl wearing the same sweater but her hair down and a Fedora on - stylish, I love it too! Although both girls are wearing the same sweater, they do not look identical. They both add a unique flare to a cute, simple sweater.
An oversized sweater is a blank canvas waiting for creativity.
Girls, this is the time of year to wear those outfits we have been planning in our heads. You can't slip on these sweaters in the bouldering heat and you sure as heck can't cover them with winter coats.
